After investigating for quite some time and digging deep, we were able to uncover social media posts from an account that has since been taken down. It seemed to belong to Buddy Dog, and depicted his escapades in Japan back from the time when he was still just a normal dog, working in the kitchen of a local restaurant. Through these posts we managed to find Daniel Palillo, an artist that Buddy seemed to have frequently had some good times with in Tokyo. Our team managed to dig Daniel out from trendy Silver Lake in Los Angeles. I managed to get an interview with Daniel. He was the first person who agreed to discuss anything related to Buddy Dog on camera.
